Outlaw Ranch Summer Programs
  

Family Camp - Outlaw welcomes families of all descriptions to enjoy the relaxed but active rhythm of playing, working, worshiping, and learning at Family Camp.   

 

Mornings

  • Adults meet with the featured resource person to discuss their relationships with God and each other.

  • Youth meet in different age groups for

    • Bible study

    • Riding horses

    • Canoeing

    • Hiking

    • Arts and crafts

    • Low ropes challenge course

Afternoons are open for family activities of your choice -

  • Trail rides

  • Canoe trips

  • Arts & crafts

  • Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball or Volleyball

  • A trip to your favorite tourist spot.

Evenings activities brings the whole community together for whole-hearted fun:

  • Hoedown

  • Christ Hike

  • Games

  • Variety show

  • Candle-lite dinner for adults

  • Cookout for kids

  • And Worship every evening before a good night's rest.

Yes! There is More

  • Home-cooked food

  • Breakfast Trail Ride - adults fellowship while either hiking or riding a horse to a campsite at Outlaw where they enjoy a breakfast cooked right over an open fire.

  • Wildlife Loop - Wake up early and ride around Custer State Park to witness all the wildlife; buffalo, elk, deer, and more!

  • Counselors - Each counselor is assigned to a family.

  • An "Artist-in-Residence" brings a special touch to the music used throughout the week.

Counselor in Training
Do you want to be a counselor at camp when you grow up?  Try it out for one week this summer!

  • For youth completing grades 10 - 12

  • Receive one week training for the basic camp and counseling skills

  • Co-sponsored by SD Lutheran Youth Organization

  • Return for a second and third week to work side-by-side with staff

  • 3 weeks for the price of 1 1/2.
