"The Bible, the Brain, a Child,
our Church"
What does the Bible say about children and families? Where does
faith formation happen in the brain? How can families raise children
of faith? At what age should a church offer Sunday school? Using
examples from developmental psychology, football, penguins, and
human brain research, Dawn invites you to join her in exploring
these questions and more in a format that is lively, interactive,
and informative.
Dawn Rundman, a former camp counselor, holds a Ph.D in Developmental
Psychology. She is fascinated by applying the academic study of
early childhood to what families and the church can do to nurture
faith formation. She is currently a senior editor at Augsburg
Fortress where she develops faith formation resources. Dawn and her
husband Jonathan will be double teaming Outlaw Ranch during this
week while their two kids play to their hearts' content with their
counselors.
