"Stories
from the Bible’s Underbelly”
Although
we hear much of the Bible read in Sunday worship, many of the Good Book’s
stories have been left out. They’re too scary, racy or bloody, but they’re also
some of the most exciting passages you could read. We’ll take up these stories
and, in the process, learn something about the ways we can read the Bible.
You’ll discover you can hear God speaking in even the most unexpected wild and
wooly places –– in the scriptures and in your life.
Ken Jones
is an active teacher, so you’ll do more than just listen. If
you don’t know the connection between the Commandments and a
bathtub full of ointment, you will by the end of the week.
