I am so pleased to tell you that
because of our capable staff and good storm plan,
all of our campers and staff at
NeSoDak were safe and well when the terrible storm had finally moved out
of northeast South Dakota on the morning of July 31.
But what a mess the storm left in its wake. One hundred mile-per-hour winds uprooted trees that have stood on the shores of Lake Enemy Swim for more than fifty years. Cabin roofs were damaged. Porches of cabins were torn off, tops of trees everywhere, and we're still cleaning it up. Can you help? We must finish our repairs to our buildings and clean up the mess immediately. We didn't plan or budget for all this so paying the bills will be the next great challenge!
