Week in the Saddle New!

High School (Grades 7-12)
Experience a week filled with a variety of engaging ranch activities with caring counselors and staff. Klein Ranch is a very unique place.

• Explore the prairie on horse back

• Hiking and exploring the mini-badlands

• Overnight camp out at the Grand River

• Bible studies with your counselor

• Worship God by a crackling fire under a majestic sky

• Make new friends

• Hay rack rides

• Worship at Native American Church

• Ranch chores and feeding the animals

Wrangler in Training   Grades 10-12

For those who have an interest in becoming a future wrangler at camp, this program gives you a chance to shadow and train with our qualified wrangler - experience all aspects of working with horses, supervise saddling, rides, tack and care of the animals. Come for one week of training and return for two more weeks of practice.

Due to intensive training, space is limited to 7 Wranglers in Training per week.  There are several weeks to choose from (see schedule).   Those spaces will be filled by a registration and application process.  Call 1-800-888-1464  to inquire about weeks this program will be available.  If you have further questions, call 1-605-947-4440.

Week in the Saddle   (Grades 10-12)  New!

Join us at Klein Ranch for a Week in the Saddle. This new program is just what it's name implies...a week in the saddle, it's not a typical week at Klein Ranch, but an intense week of riding during the day and making your own way to the next camp spot for the night. Each day we will:

• Ride and explore new vistas round Klein Ranch

• Set up camp & dive into our Bible studies

• Cook over the open flames of campfire

• Wrap up each day with worship and sleeping out under a canopy of stars!

Remember,  this isn't a typical week at camp, no trail rides here! Space is limited so sign up soon.
